Croagh Patrick

The calling to climb the Reek has been at times a quiet whisper and at other times it has been compelling. The newly laid path will preserve the mountain for generations to come. The previous path was carved into the mountain over the millennia by the footsteps of our Ancestors. I often wonder about the people that I have known and the generations that had passed before I was born and how many of them have stood at the summit looking out over Clew Bay. I wonder about the People that I have passed and where they are from and about the memories they have made and how long those memories will last.
